Bangkok - The Beautiful Capital Of Thailand

Capital of Thailand - Bangkok

The beautiful capital of Thailand, Bangkok is the driving force behind the country with social and economic powers belonging within its heart.

The economic boom began in the late eighties and has thrived to produce a city more than worth its millions of yearly visitors - whether for work or pleasure.

Many international companies opened up offices here which increased its growth at an alarming rate and gave way to a multitude of cultures.

If you have come to see awe-inspiring architecture, you will find it in Bangkok.

Dotted around a city that honors it's religion - Buddhist temples are one of the highlights to tourists. Of course, you could spend a whole day visiting the temples of Bangkok, but two that you certainly shouldn't miss are Vimanmek Palace and The Grand Palace.

What makes the capital of Thailand an attractive city is the inclusion of parks distributed amongst the high rise buildings and heaving city center. The balance that it creates and the possibility to escape make this city pleasing for all who come here.

Where the tourists spend their money is nearly all given back into the city to make it better and more accessible. Bangkok will grow bigger and bigger and it certainly deserves all the attention - some 11 million visitors a year.

The city can boast, like the rest of Thailand - extremely favorable weather conditions. By that we mean plenty of sun!

Capital of Thailand Those parks can make great retreats for more lazy days when you want to bask in the suns rays sipping on fresh fruit smoothies and picking at delectable snacks unique to the region.

The most famed of all parks in the city is the Lumphini Park.

If you fancy floating down the Chao Phraya river, it is easily approachable with many long-tail boat rides waiting by the peer - most of which will make stops at any of the floating markets.

When you come to Bangkok, don't forget to follow suit and wear a huge grin on your face and be prepared for lots of fun - the locals wouldn't have it any other way. The welcoming feeling and tight-knit society you get here is something that you would expect having wandered into a tiny village rather than a full-blown, glorious city.

The City is somewhat of great contrasts - the modern outer walls are the first thing you will notice, but on closer inspection - the old, traditional Bangkok is still living and breathing.

Sometimes it is hard to imagine that the capital of Thailand of today started out as an inconspicuous Chinese trading port.
